Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Biology, COMU Birdwatching Society, BirdLife International, the Nature Society and organized the 25th in Europe with ekuşbank and this year made Eurobirdwatch18 event in 19 different locations in Turkey, 10.07.2018 Sunday in Canakkale province Kavak Delta in Turkey. The volunteers who participated in the event were invited to the habitats of birds for a day and got to know them better.

In the event which was held in order to get to know and to introduce the bird species which have an important place in the protection of our biological diversity and important nature areas; bird watching, the importance of Canakkale in terms of bird species and the characteristics of birds seen during the land were described in detail by Prof. Dr. Murat Tosunoğlu and Assist. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Uysal. Approximately 946 individuals belonging to 49 different bird species were observed during the land.
